Abigail had her first try of rice cereal on Saturday! She has been really eyeing our food whenever we have it near her or when we're putting things into our mouth. She just stares and then opens her mouth too. So, we decided it was time to give her some solids. She took to it quite well and she did an ok job trying to keep it in her mouth. She now likes to smack her mouth all the time, like she does when she's trying to figure out swallowing. I'm not looking forward to the new diapers I'll be changing though ;)

Thank goodness you are giving her some solid food....she really looked like she was starving....:-)
Couldn't you have atleast used a pink spoon for her first time....you must have more than one spoon.....hee hee
