Robbie and I have not had a day like today in a LONG, LONG time!! One whole, full, entire day of just smiles, giggles, activities, and fun!! We started off the day with just normal Saturday morning things...waking up a little later then usual, being able to spend time with Abby in our bed, and just the usual. Robbie's basketball team was playing today during a time that worked for Abigail's schedule and so we got to make an appearance at his game. Abby loved all the new sounds and watching the girls go back and forth with the basketball. She even cheered them on with her new favorite trick...clapping and squealing! Later, we had to do some errands and one of them was to go to the grocery store. We decided to make it a family affair and we all went in to shop. Robbie and I both agree that it was our favorite trip to the grocery store we've ever made! Abby was squealing and smiling and just being absolutely wonderful to be around! Who would have thought that a baby would make grocery shopping so much fun? Then later we had Abby's boyfriend's 1st birthday party to go to. Isaiah turned 1 today and we got to celebrate with him and his family, with all of their instruments and toys (wonder where Isaiah gets his interest in music?! :) We had SOOO much fun just hanging out today! Oh, and by the way, Abby hit a milestone this week - she has learned how to crawl - she hasn't quite mastered going a far distance or anything...just a couple knee lifts forward and then it's right back down on her tummy. But she now squirms in your arms so she can get down to investigate this new enjoyment - and she's mastered going from her tummy to a sitting position - which makes for some interesting naps. We'll look in our monitor and find her just sitting up staring right back at us through the camera. Funny! She is SOOOO much fun right now!!!
