I love that both my children got their daddy's eyes! All three of them have the most gorgeous blue eyes!
So, lately Abby has been imitating a lot of the things that I have been doing. She loves to play with her dolls now and do the things that mommy does with Daniel, like changing a diaper, wiping their faces, giving them kisses, etc. But the funniest one is when she's "nursing" her dolls...in this case, she was deciding to "feed" her toy in the bath tub...
Ok, so I have these two videos of Abby "nursing" her and burping one of her bath toys, but I have been advised that I should not post it on this blog as public view....sorry...but you'll just have to trust me that it was ADORABLE, just like her:
I can't believe that Daniel is already 3 months! We were just looking at some video footage we had of him in the hospital and I can't believe that I'm already missing his little newborn antics. He has officially moved out of newborn sized clothes and he's now fitting in 3 mos. He is way more interactive now and he loves, loves, loves to watch his sister and his toy lion. Those two are sure ways for many smiles. Daniel also just hit a milestone for me, in that he is now sleeping through the night - 6-8 hours. I'll admit that there are still times where he wakes up, but a pacifier suffices and he's back down without a feeding....ahhhh sweet sleep!! He loves to suck on his hands and enjoys kicking to his heart's endless desire while he's on the changing table or playing on his back. And he'll strike up quite the conversation with you now too - as long as you can understand what "goo" and "girgle, girgle" means! Each day is getting harder and harder to be away from them at work ;)
Abby enjoys "helping" me wake up Daniel in his crib. I let her take his swaddle off and she loves to lay next to him and pet his face. She is so cute because she always turns to me and says, "I love Daniel's cheeks." ;)
